♥♥♥AUCKLAND TRIP♥♥♥

Hello everyone,
On Saturday morning we left from Te Hapua at 6:30am.

We arrived at Leanne's (girl) game at Hikurangi rugby field at 10:30am but her game started at 12:00pm. We went to the bakery to get some lunch.
At 12:00pm we watched Leanne's game, when Leanne's game finished, they won by 25-15.
So we headed off to Waiwera Hot Pools.
We arrived at Waiwera Hot Pools and paid to go in, we felt excited. We went inside we got changed in the changing rooms. We all went to the slide called the Twister, the Blackhole and Movie pool, We saw a All Black player, his name was Troy Flavell. When we finished our swimming, we got changed and

we headed to Auckland and we arrived at our rooms,

it was beautiful room. Our room was upstairs and other peoples rooms was downstairs.

When we got ready for dinner, we went to Otahuhu Food City.

We all had butter chicken with rice, it was delicious.

Also we had drinks I had a milkshake it tasted like a milo.

Then we finished our dinner we went back to our rooms and had showers.

After that I went to the girls room and played games then we all went to bed.
On Sunday morning we got ready to go to Sylvia park.

When we arrived at Sylvia park we watched a movie called Harry Potter and the order of Pheonix. Other people watched a movie called die hard 4, also we got something to eat from there. We watched the movies, but it was slow and sometimes there was no action. Other people waited for us, we got out of the movies.

We walked back to the van and waited for Whaea Sheridan but the kids went to the toliet.

At 1:50pm when we got to Mt Smart Sadium, then we got our ticket from Ruben Wiki. We found our seat and there were over 25,000 people, but it was exciting and an experince of Life time. I felt overwhelmed by the enormous crowd that was surrounding me. The Warriors played against Manly Sea Eagles.

We were barracking to all the Warrior players, it was fun and a happy day. When the game finished they won by 36-14. At 4:00pm we saw TK from Shortland Street then we went to meet Ruben Wiki and then other players but we didn't get to see all the other players.

My mum took some photo's of Ruben Wiki with me. He gaves us some Autographs too.
After that we went to KFC in Whangarei for dinner, we all slept all the way home, we were so tired. At 12:45pm we got into Te Hapua.

We so enjoyed and loved it.

We would like to say thanks to Ruben Wiki for letting us watch his game.

My concern,

I am a Students at the Northern most school in New Zealand called Te Hapua School.

We are 6 hours away from Auckland.My 4 Students and I are go on an educational trip to watch you's play a home game.

How can I go there well, we has been a long hard week of fundraising and working towards going to Auckland to watch the Warriors.

We hope you will support us by letting us watch you’s play a home game.

The benefits we will get from you’s are watching awesome role models, watching the way you’s play and sitting with a crowd full of people.

Also I would like to say thanks to Ruben Wiki for getting us some free tickets to watch you.It will be great and awesome experence to watch you.

♥♥♥LAST 3 DAYS FOR TE ORANGA HOLIDAY PROGRAMME♥♥♥

On Tuesday 3rd of July we went to Marae and wait for Te Oranga hoilday programme it was alots of fun. And then we waited for Whaea to get some quiz for us. And we walked to the cemetery and when we finished that. When we got marae and we have to walked all the way to the wharf. We have to get some from the land, air, made by the man and from the sea. Then we walked back to the marae, when we got there and we were hungry. But we have to wait for long time. Later we put our pj on and getting ready bed, we watched the movie called sherk the third.
On Wednesday 4th of July we all got up, we had breakfast. After that we started painted our group, my group called Nga Puhi. Then we getting ready for Spirits bay, when we left and then we got there. We had alots of games but it was cold we wait for the teachers to ready to asked what we are going to do.
Then we walked to the cemetery in Spirits Bay and we plants about 4.After that we packed them and we went back to the marae and had showers.
And we had tea then we watched movies called Happy feet and Shark tale.
Next morning it was our final day for Te Oranga. We all got up in the morning and I had showers. Then when I finished showers, and I put the mattress away. And then we had 3 games for the day, it was fun. Later we went to the church, after that we would like to thank you to all for coming to our marae and to do wor or 3 days. Then we say good bye to all from Te Oranga, Kaitaia and Te Kao children it was fun to see our new friends.

♥♥♥ARMY VISIT♥♥♥

On Wednesday 20th of June 2007 Waiouru army came to our school and they brought 5
tanks truck to school.

Te Hapua School children asked the Question or the army
how they feel during the NZ war.
Then there were 10 people were asked question, It was funny.

Then we hop in tanks truck it was cool there. We go for ride all the way to the wharlf about 3km from our school. The left photo some people were stand up on the chair and look around the area on tanks truck. It was cool to ride on trucks and but it was high.

♥♥♥EDUCATION♥♥♥

KAITAIA COLLEGE
Every Friday we go to Kaitaia College and we have to catch the school bus at 6:30am it is a long way. We have to do work and activities in class with the teachers. We are learning about algebra in Maths with Mr Yates and then we go to the library to choose a book and read it. We will be questioned about it by Matua Teimana. We go and do music with Uncle Bundy. After that we have science with Mr Bryan. We are learning about the good, the bad and the yucky. Every afternoon I go and visit Tom Besson to have speech therapy.
WHAKAWHITI ORA PAI
Every Tuesday we have cooking down the marae or at the school with Whaea Sheridan and Whaea Lenny who worked for Whakawhiti Ora Pai. We waited for Whaea Sheridan and Whaea Lenny to come and tell us what we are making today. Last week we made pickle, rice pudding, and nachos. We have also made pikelets, pancakes, soup and cupcakes. Whaea Lenny and Whaea Sheridan are going to make a new cookbook for 2007. We are learnng to make healthy meals on a low budget.
MUSIC
We have music with Uncle Bundy.
We are learning A, G, F, D, C, E and Minor keys. We have to listen to the music together and sing the songs on the paper. After that we have to go to a class next to Uncle Bundy's and sing and play our instruments in front of some other students on the stage.
KAPA HAKA
Our teachers for Kapa Haka are Aunty Sandra and Papa Chris Henare
we have kapa haka every fortnight. We have to listen to Sandra and Papa Chris sing the song first and then we repeat it. We have to stand up and be confident to sing the songs on the whiteboard without looking. Sometimes it's hard for the boys and new girls to learn the songs. All of the wharekura, Te Ngai and Waaka went to Cape Reinga for Kapa Haka and sang to support Muriwhenua.

♥♥♥COOKING♥♥♥

EVERY TUESDAY WE WERE DOING THE COOKING WITH WHAKAWHITI ORA PAI SHEIRDAN AND LENNY.
TODAY ARIHIA AND LEANNE WERE MADE A NACHOS AND BEVERLY AND I MADE A RICE PUDDINGS, IT WAS EASY TO MAKE RICE PUDDING.
AFTER THAT BEVERLY AND I HAD TO WIPE THE TABLE BECAUSE THERE WERE DIRTY.
WE ALSO HAD TO DO SOME WORK IN OUR BOOKS AFTER WE DONE COOKING.
AFTER OUR LUNCH, WE GOT ANOTHER THING WE DONE WIPE AND SEALING PICKLE JARS.
THEN WE WERE LAUGHING WHILE WE DOING THE DISHES
